Martin is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and an Official Liquidator of the Supreme Court of NSW and Federal Court of Australia. He has been in public practice for 38 years, mainly specialising in business reconstruction and insolvency. He has substantial business and finance experience at senior levels having been involved in thousands of administrations during his career covering all areas of business. Mr Green was chairman of Grant Thornton (Sydney office) and head of insolvency during the time that firm was handling the Voluntary Administration of the Patrick Labour Hire companies involved in the Water Front Dispute. He has served on a number of public company boards including Excello Co-operative Limited (Chairman), National Trust of Australia (NSW) and AJ Lucas Group Limited.
